Iran is betting on US internal division

The US Senate approved the resolution passed earlier by the House of Representatives, by which the Congress urges the US President to withdraw the armed forces from the conflict zone with Iran and end the war. Trump described that resolution as pointless, saying that in this way Congress only prevents him from solving the Iran issues.

Here, of course, the important thing is that several republican deputies also voted for the approval of that resolution in the Senate, which reflects the circumstances of disagreements within the US ruling power once again. Here is Trump’s key problem, and not the resolution itself. His policy on Iran has by and large no firm and stable approval within the US ruling power itself.

This, in turn, creates complications, and by and large, Iran is trying to use these “features” of the American system against Trump, to play on them, because the closer the mid-term elections of the Congress are, the more sensitive these differences will be and will deprive Trump of the greatest maneuver and time.
