The bus taking school children on an excursion overturned today on the Ashtarak-Sasunik road, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“According to the preliminary data, the children and adults received appropriate medical care, three children were taken to Yerevan for further investigation,” the department reports.

The Ministry of Health reported earlier that 30 children and 6 adults sought medical help as a result of the accident.

“All the injured have passed the necessary examinations at the regional medical center and have been discharged,” the statement of the Ministry of Health says.

It is also noted that there is no threat to the lives of the three children who were transferred to Yerevan.

Details about the causes of the accident are not reported yet.
