“From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we send our blessing and congratulations to all our people in our homeland and in the diaspora on the occasion of the Republic Day.

Marking the foundation of the first Republic of Armenia, we remember the heroic battles of Sardarapat, Gharakilisa and Bash Aparan. Gevorg the Fifth Catholicos of All Armenians played a crucial role in those historical struggles. In the life-and-death struggle, the brave children of our people, including the clergy of our Holy Church, won the victory and ensured for generations the right to live independently and freely in their native land. With the same noble spirit, the devoted children of our nation selflessly defended their homeland in recent times, many sacrificed their priceless lives for the steadfastness of our statehood and a safe and dignified future. Today, we nationally bow our heads before our heroes and keep their bright memory in our hearts forever.

In the current difficult times, to face the external and internal challenges, we must unite and together strengthen our state, make the life of all Armenians prosperous and prosperous.
