Armenia will take a new loan from the World Bank to replenish the state budget. The relevant decision was made at today’s government meeting
With the loan amount of 170.3 million euros, the legislation “On Economic Competition” will be improved, additional legal guarantees will be provided to investors. The powers of the Armenian Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to prevent price speculation and other anti-competitive activities will also be expanded.
The loan will be provided at an interest rate of approximately 3.7% per annum, with a term of 28 years and a grace period of 10 years.
