In the recent period, Nikol Pashinyan’s lexicon, vocabulary is exclusively based on threats, personal insults, retaliation against political opponents. It is clear that their stonewalling does not contain any element of political debate. This was announced at the press conference by the spokesperson of the PAP president, deputy candidate Iveta Tonoyan, summarizing another week of the pre-election campaign.:

“We are witnessing vulgar rhetoric, indecent speech, threats. It’s sad, from the first day of the campaign, we called on everyone to take part in a constructive field, but it is obvious that they continue this non-political way of working. All the forces use these days to present their theses and plans to the citizens, while the CP and Pashinyan moved the campaign to the field of threats. Especially targeting the members of Gagik Tsarukyan’s family and They understand that the land is running away from under them, but this way of working will not save you either, the citizens of Armenia will put an end to this bespredel on June 7,” he said. Tonoyan.

According to him, they were ready for all this, they knew that under the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan, the political repressions would intensify even more, and it was obvious that Nikol Pashinyan and the CP would abandon the civilized way of working. All this time, the state and administrative resources are committed to silencing the opponents, Tonoyan said, especially their PAP teammates. As an example, he cited the criminal prosecution against Andranik Tevanyan, number two on the pre-election list, the proceedings against MP Martun Grigoryan.

“We will continue our constructive way of working, we will not deviate from our planned path, because it is fundamental for us to convey our political point of view and PAP vision to our compatriots. The government is conducting an ugly campaign these days with all possible and impossible methods, and I record this with pain, because it is absolutely unacceptable to speak to political opponents in this language. No matter how many unbalanced manifestations continue, we will not deviate from our path, although we understand I think this balanced behavior affects people. There is life after June 7th, and in fact we will maintain our level, and they, Those who speak like this will regret it.”

Iveta Tonoyan also noted with pain a video broadcast yesterday on Public TV, which refers to Gagik Tsarukyan’s family and which she described as a complete slander.

“I am very sorry that the Public TV Company has placed itself in the position of a subsidiary of “Haykakan Zhamna” (Nikol Pashinyan’s family daily – ed.), I am really sorry, because Public is a media fed by all of our taxes. We will go the legal way, our lawyers are already preparing a lawsuit regarding defamation”, informed Iveta Tonoyan, once again urging the government to return to the constructive field.
