Query: the four main opposition forces combined would garner more votes than

If the elections were held this coming Sunday, 28.8 percent of the respondents would be ready to vote for the ruling “Civil Pact” party, 14.9 percent for the “Strong Armenia” party alliance, 12.1 percent for the “Armenia” party alliance, 8.7 percent for the “Prosperous Armenia” party, and 5.8 percent for the “Wings of Unity” party. Aram Navasardyan, head of the Armenian representation of Gallup International Association, announced this at a meeting with journalists on May 22, presenting the survey data.։


It turns out that the four opposition forces that overcome the threshold to pass to the parliament would together collect 41.5 percent, while the ruling party – 28.8 percent, news.am writes.


3.4 percent of respondents would vote for the “Democracy, Law and Discipline” party, 2.9 percent for the “Enlightened Armenia” party, 2.8 percent for the “Blessed Republic” party, 2.7 percent for the “New Power” party, 1.9 percent for the “Against All” party, 1.3 percent for the “Republic” party, 0.5 percent for the “For the Republic” party, “Kochari” party – 0.4 percent, Armenian National Congress – 0.3 percent, Christian Democratic Party – 0.2 percent, “National-Democratic Pole” Party – 0.2 percent, “Democratic Unification” Party – 0.1 percent, “Alliance” Party – 0.1 percent, reformists 0.1 percent of the party.


0.9 percent of respondents would spoil the ballots, 8.6 percent would refuse to answer the question, 3.4 percent would find it difficult to answer.


1,102 people took part in the telephone survey conducted on May 19-21.
