Armenian authorities announced on Friday morning that police had shut down an “Asian criminal syndicate” engaged in gambling scams.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs released a video showing armed special operatives raiding what appears to be a compound used by the syndicate as an office and detaining multiple suspects.

In a statement, the ministry said officers had “shut down the activities of an Asian criminal syndicate specialized in online fake casinos.”
