On May 14, the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. On this occasion, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy will be served in the Mother Church of Miatsnaej.

The holiday also commemorates the historic day of the transfer of the Catholicosate of All Armenians from the city of Sis to the Mother See of Saint Etchmiadzin in 1441. At the end of the Holy Liturgy, a Patriarchal blessing will be performed in the Miatznaej Cathedral.

A cultural event will be organized on the occasion of the holiday, performed by the students of Hayordats houses, around the Holy See of Havart.
