According to the clarification of the Anti-corruption Committee, investigative activities are carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated by giving and receiving election bribes and a number of other articles of the Criminal Code. 

According to Aravot.am, Tatul Buloyan, the head of the Maralik regional office, and his wife were arrested. Searches were also made in their apartment and office.
