For the first time, Armenia is hosting the eighth summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Yerevan on Monday, bringing together leaders from across the continent.
The meeting, held under the motto “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe,” focused on Ukraine, security cooperation, energy, connectivity and regional stability.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen were among the senior figures expected in the Armenian capital.
The summit comes ahead of the first EU‑Armenia bilateral summit on 4–5 May, as Yerevan seeks closer ties with Europe while managing tensions with Russia and talks with Azerbaijan.
