EPC Summit, Kurti meets the Armenian Prime Minister: We talked about global topics, I expect to meet in Pristina as well

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met in Yerevan with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

Kurti went there to participate in the European Political Community Summit, and with Pashinyan he said they discussed “numerous topics of common interest regarding current global issues, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation at the European level.”

“Thanking the Armenian government for its warm hospitality, we agreed on the need to further develop relations and increase bilateral coordination and cooperation in areas of mutual interest. I look forward to meeting again and welcoming you to Pristina,” he wrote in X.

Kurti’s office, meanwhile, said that Kurti “expressed gratitude for the contribution of the Armenian armed forces within KFOR, the Armenian Government for the ever-growing cooperation between Armenia and Kosovo, as well as the invitation to participate in the International Conference “Yerevan Dialogue””.

“The conversation focused on concrete opportunities for deepening relations between Kosovo and Armenia, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation, investment and trade, as well as on building sustainable bridges through academic and cultural exchanges,” the announcement states.

“Prime Minister Kurti thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for his hospitality, appreciating that peace on the European continent and beyond needs the alliance of democracies.”
