French President Emmanuel Macron has paid tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.

“On this April 24, the Republic commemorates the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and bows in memory of the victims. It is an occasion to remember, to pass on, and to emphasize the indissoluble bond that unites France with Armenia and the French people with the Armenian people,” President Macron said on X.

April 24, 2026, marks the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
