Why is the text of the Constitution not published? minister’s clarification

There was still not enough time to assimilate the text of the draft of the new Constitution, to make relevant proposals aimed at its amendment and amendment. RA Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan mentioned this in a conversation with journalists today, April 17.

“There are always disagreements, because we have not moved forward with individual decisions, we never will move forward. There are disagreements over every legislative project and they are discussed, solutions are found,” he said.

Regarding the observation that it is unclear why the text of the Constitution is not published, Galyan said. “It will be published when it is ready for publication. It means something that is not yet ready for publication. We decide whether it is ready to be presented to the public or not. I say: the text is ready, it is set for discussions, it will be decided when it will be published.”

The minister informed that the option of publishing in parts was also discussed, but there is no decision yet.

According to Galyan, there are several versions of the preamble of the Constitution. He responded to the question: Is there a reference to the Declaration of Independence in those versions? “The text has not been published yet, you will see for yourself when it is published. There is no intrigue, I say what I want.”
