In 2025, Armenia reduced its drinking and irrigation water losses compared to 2024, according to a cabinet minister.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan told members of parliament that in 2025, drinking water losses decreased to 51.9% compared to 61% in 2024, while irrigation water losses were 44.3%, down from 45.5% in 2024.

The projects are already prepared, and the bidding process will begin soon. “It is about the construction of reservoirs in Astghadzor, Yelpin, Kasakh, Lichk, and Artik,” Davit Khudatyan explained.
