Spain’s ambassador to Iran, Antonio Sánchez-Benedito Gaspar, said Monday that the Spanish embassy in Tehran has reopened in a move aimed at supporting regional peace efforts, Xinhua reported.

In a post on the social media platform X, the ambassador said he had returned to the Iranian capital with his team to “join efforts for peace from every possible quarter,” following instructions from Spain’s Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares.
