Violating US laws can have serious consequences on your student visa. This is reported by the US Embassy in Armenia.

“If you have been arrested or violated any US law, your visa may be revoked, and you may be deported and denied the opportunity to obtain a US visa in the future.

Be law-abiding and refrain from such steps and actions that may jeopardize your visit,” the message reads.
