The main messages of the PAP congress and Gagik Tsarukyan

Iveta Tonoyan presented the main messages of the PAP congress and Gagik Tsarukyan.

Guaranteed peace is to close the door of war once and for all, so that people can plan their peaceful life in their homeland.

The guaranteed peace is that no one says that there will be a war in September, or that there will be a war if one or another demand is not fulfilled. It is not peace, it is living under blackmail.

In the prosperous Armenia we imagine, first of all, the supremacy of justice is the opportunity to have a just country and people to live normally.

Our proposed Armenia should be an Armenia of mutual respect, listening to each other, giving in, and tolerant.

In our proposed Armenia, there are no false divisions: pro-Western, pro-Russian, because that division is beneficial only to our enemies.

Our proposed Armenia is the Armenia of scientific-educational-cultural renaissance. The science-culture that once made the whole world respect us, but today it is impoverished.

The Armenia we offer is a well-lived, prosperous village that gives crops and benefits, not one huddled under loans and problems.

Our proposed Armenia is our pensioners living with a decent pension, who have put their lives on the line for the establishment of our country.

The Armenia we offer is our small and medium business working in a fair environment, which builds the country.

The Armenia we offer is our brilliant youth who will stand up for our country.

Our proposed Armenia is our women, our mothers, our sisters. The best women in the world, who keep both the country and the hearth, and are the most charming.

Armenia has all the opportunities to quickly go on the path of post-war recovery, national revival, and become a modern state. With internal solidarity and the joint work of all competent forces and individuals, this will become a reality.
We will defeat poverty.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
