“I am not like you, but I am one of you.” today at Autism Awareness International

The event will be titled “I’m not like you, but I’m one of you”, conveying the important message of acceptance, inclusion, equality and the right of every person to be a full member of society.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about autism in Armenia, as well as to emphasize the importance of understanding, acceptance and continuous support for people with autism and their families.

An inclusive concert, which will be organized by the inclusive educational non-governmental organization “Side by Side”, a partner of the project, with the joint participation of famous musicians and beneficiaries of the “Im Ughin” center. The concert will contribute to raising awareness of vulnerable groups, building a culture of tolerance and appreciation, making art a language of equal opportunities and mutual understanding.
Employees of “Teryan Cultural Center” have been working with children with special skills for several months.

During the event, the works created within the framework of our project will be presented as a result of joint work.

The joint and dedicated work of mentors, parents and children has given its beautiful fruits.
