Armenian Human Rights Defender (Ombudsperson) Anahit Manasyan, during her visit to Geneva, met with Maarit Kohonen Sheriff, Director of the Global Operations Division (D2) at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The parties discussed challenges in the field of human rights protection, ways to overcome them, as well as issues faced by human rights commissioners in carrying out their duties, according to a readout from Manasyan’s office.
