Security Council of Nagorno-Karabakh explains visit to Berdzor by Secretary Vitaly Balasanyan

ArmInfo.The Security Council of Nagorno-Karabakh has explained the visit Secretary Vitaly Balasanyan, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers and representatives  of the Azerbaijani side, paid to Berdzor. 

According to an official report, “in response to media reports on the  visit Secretary Vitaly Balasanyan, accompanied by Russian  peacekeepers and representatives of the Azerbaijani side, paid to  Berdzor, the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh reports that  the visit the Security Council Secretary paid to Berdzor was in  conformity with the trilateral Declaration of November 9, 2020. The  goal of the visit was inspecting the process of construction of a new  highway between Artsakh and Armenia. The visit was paid in  coordination with the Russian peacekeeping contingent and  representatives of the Azerbaijani side. 

“The Security Council Secretary is doing his best to ensure peace and  security in Artsakh both ex officio and as a person with extensive  experience, including by diplomatic means.  

“We are calling for refraining from reports deceiving the public and  demoralizing society. We are urging you to focus on living and doing  creative work on your land.” 

A number of media outlets reporters earlier that Mr Balasanyan,  accompanied by Russian peacekeepers and representatives of the  Azerbaijani side, visited Berdzor to show the Azerbaijani the houses  to be placed at their disposal after August 25.
