The office reports cases of police detaining citizens that have nothing to do with the protests. Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan points out the inadmissibility of restricting freedom at the venues of mass actions. On the other hand, she stressed that protesters must obey law-enforcers’ legal demands.
As of 11:00am Yerevan time, the police detained 277 members of the Resistance Movement, Edgar Janoyan, Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department of the Armenian Police, told ArmInfo.
