Armenia’s third President and Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan has been re-elected as president of the Chess Federation of Armenia.
The voting took place during the Chess Federation’s reporting conference on Saturday, RPA said on Facebook.
Sargsyan was the only candidate and was re-elected unanimously. He has headed the Armenian Chess Federation since 2004.
Also, Smbat Lputyan was re-elected as first vice president of the federation.
