If the government has not set restrictions after March 1 the 89% of Armenia’s population would have been infected in 75-80 days, commandant, deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan told the reporters today.
He said in such case the number of infected in Yerevan only would have reached 8,200.
“The prevention works are aimed at reducing the intensity of spread of the disease,” Avinyan said.
The commandant said they are working to gain a bigger number of tests and reduce the restrictions.
Avinyan also said the movement of people has essentially reduced.
