BETHLEHEM, Friday, (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received today his Armenian counterpart, Armen Sarkissian, at the Presidential Palace in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest for both countries as well as ways to boost cooperation in various fields.
President Abbas also offered congratulations to his Armenian counterpart on the Christmas celebrations according to the Armenian calendar, especially since the Palestinians of Armenian origin constitute an important portion of the Palestinian people.
