Armenia transfers chairmanship of La Francophonie Summit to Tunisia

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. At the end of the meeting of member states and ministers of governments of the International Organization of La Francophonie held in Monaco on October 30-31 on the sidelines of the 36th ministerial conference of La Francophonie, Armenia, which hosted the 2018 La Francophonie Summit, transferred the chairmanship of the Summit to Tunisia, the Organization told Armenpress. The meeting was chaired by Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and OIF Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo.

In addition to the reforms program proposed by the Secretary General, the 36th ministerial conference also approved the OIF 2020 budget’s revised draft, 2019-2020 revised program, etc.

The 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie Summit was held in Yerevan, Armenia in October 2018.
