Armenian Prime Minister to travel to United States on working visit

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to the United States on a working visit on September 21st, the PM’s Office said in a news release.

The visit will begin from Los Angeles, where on Sunday, September 22nd, the PM will participate in a rally and deliver remarks at the Grand Park in central LA. PM Pashinyan will also have meetings with the authorities of California and Los Angeles, leaders of Armenian community organizations and Armenian news media representatives.

A business forum with participation of local business circles is also planned.

Then the PM will travel to San Jose’s Silicon Valley where a meeting with representatives of high-tech companies, including Armenian experts is planned.

The Armenian Prime Minister will then visit New York to participate and deliver a speech in the 74th General Assembly of the United Nations. A meeting with UN Secretary General António Guterres is planned. A number of bilateral meetings with colleagues from different countries will also take place.

PM Pashinyan will also meet with the Armenian community of New York. He will also visit an exhibition dedicated to the Velvet Revolution and the Columbia University.

Memoranda of Cooperation are expected to be signed during the USA trip.
