Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, who announced hours ago that he will no longer hold that position, remaining only as the chairman of the country’s security council and the head of the ruling Nur Otan party.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the invaluable role of President Nazarbayev in ensuring the progress and development of Kazakhstan and his great contribution to the establishment of integration processes in the Eurasian region.

Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated the existing friendly cooperation between the two countries and the personal relations formed with President Nazarbayev. He wished success to President Nazarbayev in his future activities. An agreement was reached to meet in Astana on May 29 within the framework of the Jubilee Summit of the Eurasian Economic Union.
