Unfamiliar ratings for Aronian in FIDE’s August list
Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian with 2767 points has found himself in an unfamiliar position, the 13th place.
Other Armenian players in top 100 are Gabriel Sargsyan (ranked at 59t), Hrant Melkumyan (85) and Vladimir Hakobyan (93).
World champion Magnus Carlsen with 2842 points remains a confident leader in the list.
