Alfred Abedi: When Nairit is closed, people complain, demanding to open it (video)

The plant in Yeghvard, which will manufacture lubricants and bitumen, will be safe for the environment and residents. This is noted today, at the meeting with journalists, by the director of the company “Armoil” Alfred Abedi and the representative of the “Multi Group” Arayik Kesoyan.

“We have repeatedly stated: we will have green production. The word oil refining is wrong, there will be the production of lubricating oils. We do not have any rubbish or emissions. And the available emissions burn at high temperatures,” Arayik Kesoyan said.

A few days ago, residents of the Yerevan’s Nati district of Yerevan blocked the Yerevan-Yeghvard highway, demanding that construction work cease as there are no guarantees of its safety. However, Alfred Abedi argues that very few of those who block the highway, know the reason why they why block it.

“I already do not understand anything. When Nairit is closed, people complain, demanding to open it. When it is open they demand to close it,” Alfred Abedi said .

Alfred Abedi is dissatisfied that there are no relevant specialists who will carry out expertise in the field of oil products processing.

Alfred Abedi added that if everything goes as planned, then within 40-45 days the plant will be launched.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
