Levon Mkrtchyan, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, gave awards to the members of the working group on the development of the concept, criteria and subject curriculum of the French language.
A professional working group, which was created by the order of the Minister of Education and Science, has completed the development of subject curriculum of French for 5-9 grades. The members of the group informed that the textbooks of the 7th grade have already been published and the textbooks for the 7-9th grades will be published until September 1, 2018. It is also planned to train French advanced instructors.
In addition, since 2017-2018, the French language learning program has been expanded and introduced in 10 secondary schools in Armenia.
