Armenia’s Hermine Naghdalyan presides over PACE plenary sitting

Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly, PACE Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan presided over today’s plenary sitting of PACE Winter Session in Strasbourg.

This is the second time Hermine Naghdalyan has chaired the plenary sitting.

In the format of joint debate on the agenda of PACE January 25thPlenary Sitting the reports on Online Media and Journalism Challenges and Responsibility authored by the Italian delegate, Representative of ALDE Group Adele Gambaro, as well as the Necessity of Cyber-Discrimination and  Ending up Online Hatred Speech by Marit Maij were discussed.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
