Dozens of people gathered outside the German parliament in Berlin on Thursday to celebrate the decision by German lawmakers to recognize the Armenian Genocide.

The resolution recognizing the 1915-1916 genocide by the Ottoman Empirewas passed by a landslide vote with only one lawmaker opposing.
