VALERIE BOYER: WE CONDEMN THE MASSACRE OF 20TH CENTURY

Commemorations on the century the Armenian Genocide have been held
since morning in Marseille.

More than 5,000 people gathered in front of the Armenian Church in
Beaumont and headed to the memorial, La Provence reported.

Chairman of the General Council of the department of Martine Vassal,
member of the National Assembly of France Valerie Boyer, other
officials, as well as the well-known model Adriana Karembeu and her
husband Aram Ohanian are present.

Earlier Valerie Boyer posted photos from the event on her Twitter.

“Let’s not forget. When there are deportations, violence, it is not a
civil war, it is a genocide,” she said. “The young and the elderly,
we are all united to unanimously condemn the massacre of the 20th
century. Today we remember not only the Armenian victims, but also
all the forgotten martyrs.”
