14:44, 31.03.2015

YEREVAN. – Relations between Iran and Turkey will neither improve
nor deteriorate, Armenian analyst Sergey Minasyan said.

Minasyan, Caucasus Institute Deputy Director, said Iran’s relation
with the regional countries, such as Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey,
have traditional dynamics.

“If there is movement in nuclear talks, there may be changes in
relations with Turkey, because it is not ruled out that Iran will
review ties with U.S. and the West,” Minasyan added.

The new meeting between six major powers and Iran kicked off in
Lausanne on Tuesday.

Earlier Turkey’s president Erdogan slammed Iran in connection with
situation in Yemen, while Iranian lawmakers called on Erdogan to
cancel his visit to Tehran.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
