LEBANESE DEFENSE MINISTRY DELEGATION FINISHES VISIT TO ARMENIA

A delegation of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense has finished its
visit to Armenia.

During their visit, the delegation held meetings with Armenia’s
Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, Deputy Minister of Defense David
Tonoyan, First Vice-Chief of the Joint Staff Enriko Apriamov, as well
as with a number of officials.

The Lebanese delegation visited different departments of Armenia’s
Ministry of Defense, educational institutions and enterprises of
Armenia’s military industry.

The sides discussed issues of education, training, peacekeeping,
logistical security and reached an agreement on mutual visits of the
Armenian and Lebanese defense ministers.

Head of the Defense Policy Department, Ministry of Defense of Armenia,
Levon Aivazyan and the head of the Lebanese delegation Brigadier
General Manuel Kirijian signed a 2015 bilateral military cooperation
program.
