American diplomat on Karabakh: We are watching it closely

Members of the OSCE Minsk Group are very interested in the sides
continuing to talk, U.S. Charge d’affaires Clark Price told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.

The parties should take the opportunity to find ways to de-escalate
the situation, he said commenting on the recent incidents on the line
of contact and Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The diplomat recalled that Co-Chair James Warlick sent a tweet over
the weekend which expressed the policy of U.S.

“We are watching it closely of course,” Price added.

Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick had appealed to the
presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling to stop the violence.
