Chorrord Ishkanutyun: Security Council big burden for Armenia’s budget

Citing the recent spendings by the National Security Council (NSC),
the paper says that this agency has become a real burden for Armenia’s
State Budget.

In December alone, it turns out to have spent 3 million Armenian Drams
(over $6,500) on different employees’ foreign trips, directing another
2,122,000 (over $4600) to repairs.

Considering the NSC a formal structure which once sought to satisfy
the ambitions of Arthur Baghdasaryan, its former chief who heads the
Rule of Law party, the paper notes that it is now in a state of
absolute idleness after the latter’s resignation.
