DRAFT STATEMENT ON GREEK, ASSYRIAN, YAZIDI GENOCIDE PUT INTO CIRCULATION AT ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT

Member of Heritage parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan on
Wednesday put into circulation at Armenia’s National Assembly a draft
statement on the genocide against the Greeks, Assyrians, Yazidis and
representatives of other religious and ethnic minorities, the press
service of Heritage Party reports.

The draft says that the Armenian National Assembly condemns the
genocide against the Greeks, Assyrians, Yazidis and other religious
and ethnic minorities in the Ottoman Empire as a grave crime against
humanity.

Heritage expects that the draft will be adopted through voting at
the next session of the parliament, in early February, the party’s
press service adds.
