President Sargsyan welcomes EPLO mission in Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday received Professor
Spyridon Flogaitis, Director and President of the Board of Directors
of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO).

Flogaitis arrived in Armenia to attend the opening ceremony for the
Armenian branch of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO).

The Armenian leader welcomed the guest and highlighted the importance
of the opening of the EPLO branch in Armenia.

“Our country is also an advocate of the dissemination of European
values and since gaining independence, in cooperation with our
European partners, we have achieved certain progress, though there are
still many problems the resolution of which is very important,”
Sargsyan said, as quoted by his press service.

The EPLO director reportedly expressed his gratitude to Armenia for
the opportunity to open a branch in Yerevan and for the country’s
willingness for cooperation. Professor Flogaitis also pointed out the
EPLO’s willingness to support Armenia in implementing reforms,
retraining specialists and other issues.

Cooperation with Armenia could set a good example to other countries
