BAKU DOES NOT PROVIDE SECURITY GUARANTEES FOR MONITORING AT MI-24 HELICOPTER DOWNING SITE

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Official Baku has not provided security guarantees
to the OSCE for conducting a monitoring at the site of MI-24 helicopter
downing.

Personal Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador
Andrzej Kasprzyk stated it following the regular monitoring on the
contact line of NKR and Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Askeran direction
the day before, Artsakh Public TV reports.

The area of monitored by OSCE mission yesterday is located 10-12
kilometers from the site of downed helicopter.

According to Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the OSCE attempted to
conduct the monitoring at the site of the downed helicopter instead
of the area agreed on heretofore, however, Baku did not provide any
security guarantees for it.

The Ambassador informed their office will persist with efforts.
