LAND PLOT ACCOMMODATING ISTANBUL STADIUM HANDED OVER TO ARMENIAN FUND

The land plot accommodating Zeytinburnu Stadium in the Turkish city of
Istanbul was handed over to the Armenian fund Surp Pırgic, Milliyet
newspaper reported Sept. 26.

Before the transfer the land plot was on the balance sheet of the
municipality of Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu district.

The land plot was handed over to the Armenian fund under a decision of
the General Director of Waqfs of Turkey (state authority on charitable
foundations).

The Zeytinburnu municipality opposed the transfer of the land to the
Armenian fund.
