YEREVAN, August 29. /ARKA/. Upper Lars border checkpoint will open
within two days and motor vehicles trapped here because of landslides
will continue their way, Nikolay Grigoryan, deputy chief of the
Armenian emergency ministry’s rescue service, said at a news
conference on Friday answering ARKA News Agency’s question.

Traffic on the Stepantsminda-Lars road section ceased on August 20 at
