Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia attend international
sambo tournament

Baku, Azerbaijan, Aug. 9
Trend:

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin
and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended international
tournament in combat sambo “S-70 Platform”, ITAR-TASS reported.

Earlier today, Putin held separate talks with Aliyev and Sargsyan,
during which the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was
discussed.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Prime Ministers Arkady
Dvorkovich and Dmitry Kozak, and Jean-Claude Killy, who served as
chairman of the IOC Coordination Commission for the Sochi Olympics
were present as guests of honor.

Moreover, such famous athletes as two-time Olympic champion Alexey
Voevoda and Olympic boxing champion Alexander Povetkin are among the
honorable guests.
