Gyumri celebrated a number of events on Constitution Day

A solemn ceremony was held at Vardanants square of Gyumri (Shirak
province), dedicated to the 100thjubilee of prominent Armenian poet
Hovhannes Shiraz, as well as the 84th anniversary of great Armenian
actor Mher Mkrtshyan, the one-year anniversary of Gyumri’s
announcement as a cultural capital of the CIS and the Constitution Day
of Armenia.

The festive concert was attended by RA Parliament Chairman Galust
Sahakyan, the governor of Shirak province Felix Tsolakyan, mayor of
Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan, the children of Hovhannes Shiraz and many
other prominent representatives of culture and guests.
