YEREVAN TO BE DECORATED BY 2,400,000 FLOWERS THIS YEAR

YEREVAN. – The flowering activities in all districts of Armenia’s
capital city Yerevan are in progress within the framework of the 2014
Greening Program of the Yerevan Municipality.

Overall, around 2,400,000 flowers will decorate the Armenian capital
city this year.

As a result, Yerevan’s floral area will encompass 7.5 hectares in 2014,
instead of the present-day 6.7 hectares.

Pursuant to the 2014 Greening Program, the total green space area of
the Armenian capital city is expected to reach 850 hectares.
