Agriculture Ministry: 100 Belarusian Tractors Brought To Armenia Sin

AGRICULTURE MINISTRY: 100 BELARUSIAN TRACTORS BROUGHT TO ARMENIA SINCE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR

YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Some 100 tractors have been imported in
Armenia from Belarus since the beginning of this year, Armenian
Deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan said Wednesday at a
news conference.

“The new batch of tractors will be sold and leased within a few days
after completion of appropriate customs paperwork,” he said.

Makaryan also said that other 120 Belarusian tractors were imported
in Armenia in 2013.

In December 2013, Grisha Baghyan, the first deputy agriculture
minister, said that 400 tractors would be brought to Armenia from
Belarus in 2014.

There were 14,683 tractors and 1,362 harvesters in Armenia in early
January 2013. -0—-
