Vorotan Cascade, the Armenian hydropower plant sold to a US company
in November, turns out to have a higher capital compared to its real
sale price, the paper has learned.

Citing recently published details from the sale-purchase deal with
Contour Global, the paper says that the balance of the plant’s capital
was about $271,806,500 as of December 31, 2012.

“The report submitted by the company thus reveals that the its capital
is about $90 million more than the sale price of 1$80 that was offered
to the Americans,” the paper comments.
