ARMENIAN MILITARY LEADERS DISCUSS DEFENSE TACTICS

On Feb. 13, Armenian Defense Ministry hosted a consultation chaired
by Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

Expansion of the Armenian armed forces, creation of groups, conducting
combat operations, distribution of new armament and equipment and
use of long range weapons were discussed.

The focus of the participants was on the ways and forms of troops’
use during defensive actions and counter-offensives.

The consultation was attended by Chief of General Staff of Armenian
Armed Forces Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov, Deputy Defense Ministers
and Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces and
department heads, the press service of Defense Ministry reported.
