ARMENIAN PREMIER AWARDS TEN BEST ARMENIAN ATHLETES

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in an award
ceremony of the ten best Armenian athletes.

The ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.

According to the polls conducted by the ministry, Armenia’s best
athlete is world and European freestyle wrestling champion David
Safaryan.

Graeco-Roman wrestlters Artur Alexanyan, Arsen Julfalakyan and Roman
Amoyan ranked second, third and fourth respectively.

Among the best Armenian athletes are also world sambo wrestling
champion Ashot Danielyan, football palyers Yura Movsisyan and Henrik
Mkhitarian, freestyle wrestlter Musa Murtazaliyev, sambo wrestler,
gold medal winner at the world student championship Tigran Kirakosyan,
boxer Aram Avagyan.

Armenia’s premier congratulated the athletes and wished them new
achievements.

A number of athletes were awarded prizes in behalf of Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan and Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs
Yuri Vardanyan.
