ARMENIA TO STUDY TURKEY’S UNILATERAL WATER RESERVOIR CONSTRUCTION

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan ordered the government to
study Turkey’s unilateral decision to build a water reservoirs on
border rivers in terms of international law, ArmInfo reports.
Turkey decided to spend $20 billion on construction of the reservoirs.
Specialists say that the project may cause irrigation problems in
the Ararat Valley. Sargsyan noted that construction of a new energy
block at the Armenian nuclear power plant was another problem for
legal consideration.
